Rachel Buffer
Kenzie Finn (Sagamore Beach, MA) Kenzie began her dance training at Center Stage Dance Academy in Plymouth, MA. At fourteen, she transferred out of her local high school to pursue her dance training at the Boston Arts Academy. At the BAA she had the opportunity to work with professionals such as Ina Hahn, and Sean Curran while also broadening her range of dance styles and uderstanding of movement concepts. After graduating, Ms. Finn began work on her B.F.A. in dance choreography at Long Island University's Brooklyn campus. While in New York, Kenzie also became on of the Inaugural members of the Calvin Wiley Dance Theatre in Manhattan. Since returning to boston, Kenzie joined the Boston-based dance company, Rainbow Tribe. Currently, Kenzie spends most of her time teaching dance, learning about dance, and dancing. Last summer she interned with the Bates Dance Festival. This will be her 6th year with our studio. Patricia Biagini Patricia has extensive training and teaching experience in ballet, tap, jazz modern, and musical theater. She has trained in both Boston and New York under such notable names as Rhee and Rennie Gold, Jeanette Neill, Sandy Hagen, Adrienne Hawking, Frank Hatchell, Kaititi King, Marcus Shulking, and Hinton Battle. She has also performed and/or choreographed in numerous shows in both Boston and New York, including WBZ television “talk of the town”, a Stevie wonder concert at Radio City Music Hall, a music video for “KISS”, “Fireheat” a Broadway review, “Carousel”, “Cabaret”, “Jerry’s Girls”, “Families for Freedom”, Boston Ballet’s “Taking Steps”, and the Terpsichore Awards Gala. She has taught on the faculty of Plymouth State College, Boston Arts Academy, Concord Academy, Topf Center for Dance Education, and Boston University. She has also taught at various studios in the Boston area including Origination, Winthrop School of Peforming Arts, Coffey Dance School, Needham Dance Theater, and Winchester Ballet Arts. This will be Trish's 5th year with our studio.
Robert Robinson
We are very pleased to welcome Robert Robinson to our dance family this year. Mr. Robinson is a Massachusetts native. he went on to study for a
profession in dance at the school of hartford ballet under the direction
of enid lynn and peggy lyman before graduating from the- juilliard
school under artistic direction by lawerence rhodes where he had the
privilage of working with choreographers such as dwight rhoden and
robert battle and performing works by such esteemed artists as lar
lubovitch and mark morris. he worked as a soloist with rioult for the
majority of his career interperting the ballets of pascal rioult in new
york city as well as venues throughout north america and europe. he has
also appeared as a guest artist with companies as diverse as minnesota
dance theater, windhover dance company and lydia johnson dance.
throughout his professional career he has taught ballet and contemporary
dance for students of all ages and abilities in the states and abroad. Mr. Robinson will be instructing our company dancers in both ballet and contemporary dance.
