Dress Code Make-Up Lessons
Class Placement Returning students are placed into fall classes based on teacher recommendations from the prior spring. It is our police to place new students into class based on prior experience and age. If there is a question as to placement we will place the child in the lower level of choice rather than higher. We would much rather have to move a child up a level if necessary, than ask a child to move down a level in placement. Please know, that the first month of classes is used as an evaluative time for ALL students. We are aware that many children grow and mature over the summer. Teachers may move students around at any time during September. Thank you for your patience during this month of adjustment. Tuition/Payments/FeesPlease make all payments in a studio payment envelope. Tuitions can be paid either by the month, trimester, or in full. Costume deposits are due by the 15th of October for students with multiple dances. (Costumes range between $50-$75 per costume - each dance has a separate costume. For example, if your child is enrolled in a ballet, tap, jazz combination class, you will be responsible for 3 costumes) Costume balances and costume payments for students with one or two dances are due by the 15th of November. There is a $10.00 penalty for payments not received within 10 days of the due date. Returned checks are subject to a charge of $25.00 There is a 10% family discount if you have more than one child enrolled, and a 10% extra class discount. Excel Students have individually calculated tuitions, based on the number of hours danced. Students with 4 or more hours per week are eligible for excel rates. Refund PolicyNo portion of tuition, registration or costume fees, paid or outstanding is refunded should a student withdraw, is dismissed or absent from the school.
Please note: Enrollment here is a school year commitment.
Here at Raquelle's Institute of Dance and Fitness, we believe that dance should be both enjoyable and fun as well as a learning experience. We expect that both the student and parent make this commitment for the season. We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise, and will work with the parent and child to help deal with these circumstances. In order to maintain an environment that is conducive to learning, we strive to create a fun atmosphere while maintaining a certain level of discipline. We appreciate your support and cooperation in this matter. Should any parent be aware of any potential problem, we encourage you to make the office and the teacher aware of the situation.
