Make Up Lessons
Perfect attendance is encouraged in order to achieve maximum benefit and progress. Absence due to illness should be reported to the office prior to class in order to be eligible for a make-up lesson. We are not responsible for class make-ups due to weather cancellations. Classes missed due to illness or weather cancellations, must be taken within one month of the missed class and must be approved by the office. Tuition and all other fees must be up to date in order to be eligible for make up lessons.
Please Note: We will not necessarily be closed on snow days. Many times the day is clear by the afternoon.Should there be any question as to whether or not classes are being held, you will receive an e-mail or you can call the office by 1:00 pm for a recorded message. We also encourage you to use your better judgment should there be any question of safety. If we know of a teacher's absence in advance, we will usually arrange for a substitute for that day. If a class is cancelled due to an emergency situation, classes are usually made up during Monday holidays, vacation weeks, or on weekends.
Days to RememberWe will be closed for the following holidays and you will receive specific dates at a later time. Halloween ,Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving break, Holiday break, Winter break, Easter break, April break. Monthly newsletters will inform you of specific dates.
Observation ClassesTo prevent distraction, regularly scheduled dance classes are closed to observation. However, we understand that parents are anxious to see what it is your child is doing in dance class. Therefore, we schedule an observation class in early December. This year, we will have a theme to the week and the students will be performing a short dance for you, set to HOLIDAY MUSIC. We hope that this will be a fun holiday event for all. A specific date will be set for this day in September
